Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The title of this image is related to the name of this beautiful geyser and the person who made my trip to this world wonder possible. I'm thankful to my friend Lee for giving me a wonderful opportunity to visit this magic place and capture this powerful eruption.

Old Faithful is a cone geyser located in Wyoming, in Yellowstone National Park in the United States. Eruptions can shoot 3,700 to 8,400 US gallons (14,000 to 32,000 L) of boiling water to a height of 106 to 185 feet (32 to 56 m) lasting from 1.5 to 5 minutes. The average height of an eruption is 145 feet (44 m).

This is a place one must visit at least once in a lifetime. It's a beauty which is hard to imagine if you don't see this majestic, breathtaking vista with your own eyes. If you don't see it in close up you can't imagine the power and height of this stream. But while you can't make a real trip... this photo is a great way to bring this splendid...
