Description
Only in Lithuania... Cepelinai- Potato Dumplings
-----
If you asked any Lithuanian what represents our country one of three answers would be cepelinai. This image is made from series of photos showing the whole process of cooking Lithuanian national dish- cepelinai. It is a lot of work but the result is rewarding. It's a very tasty and filling meal. Most often you'd probably get cepelinai with meat filling but on the day I made this photo project I was making ones with curd (cottage cheese), so that's why you see this filling in this collage. Other filling Lithuanians would make are mushrooms, chopped bacon.
-----
The collage can become a great gift to someone who has an interest to Lithuanian cuisine, someone who lives in Lithuania or outside or it, someone who loves Lithuanian food and longs for it. The picture can become a great detail of Lithuanian restaurant, bar, deli or a family kitchen.
