Description
Color Explosion #01
-----
This image was created by experimenting on the photo in which I captured a variety of simple edible beans (You can see the original photo in my gallery called "Food Glorious Food"). Colorful mix of beans looks gorgeous by itself but I wanted to create something more abstract, a splash, an explosion of bold colors and shapes, something to resemble the element of imaginary outer space... So I went for it.
-----
I digitized my beans, made them sparkle with white, black, pink, brown, cream, sepia, tan, brown, purple, grey, gray, yellow, red...
To achieve this firework of colors and a textile or carpet like pattern I altered the original photo using a couple filters and enhancements on Photoshop.
-----
I myself am pretty happy with the result. It is simple but at the same time it is unique, original, decorative and whimsical. It can be used as a single picture or be combined with others because it was created as a part of a bigger picture. Other 3 parts can be found in a gallery "Abstract images and Digital art"
-----
This picture is not the usual thing people would do. It's created as a form of applicable art, to serve as an original wall decor for large monotone spaces. It can be suitable both for private and public places that need some stronger accent of color.

This is really cool! I love how it looks like it is coming at you when you scroll the page up and down. It says 'photograph' but is it really a photograph?
Ausra Huntington nee Paulauskaite replied:
Thanks for your compliment, Gordon. To answer your question- yes, it's a photo based digital modification. Now I see that I forgot to add this , unlike I did to other images of this series. The photo that was used for this image is the one called "Cool Beans".
