Have you ever came to your assigned camping spot and foundit being occupied already?
That's what happened to us when we arrived to camp St. Mary, Glacier, USA. We started to put up the tent and this tiny birdie appeared from nowhere. He kept jumping around all the time we worked on out tent, getting on our way, making us watch our steps so that we didn't step on thi tiny grey creature almost invisible in the grass. He behaved aas if he was a host of the place and we were the intruders, or if he knew us for a long time and was a pet bird.
We thought maybe he was used to campers feeding him and that was the resonhe showed up. We tried to give him (her?) some bread crumbs but they didn't spark any interest. The bird was much more intersted in our activities than in strange food we had. We couldn't find any explanation for such a surprising behavior. To our dissapointment our friend Camper didn't show up the next or any other of the following days. We wonder what might have happen to him.
