In 2012 I had a great chance to visit the unique corner of the Earth- Yellowstone National park, Wyoming, USA. It's geyser area is famous for live geysers and hot ponds. Some are still and very colorful, some look quite dull like this one but bubble with hidden magic and power

Hot springs with names like Morning Glory, Grand Prismatic, Abyss, Emerald, and Sapphire, glisten like jewels in a host of colors across the park's harsh volcanic plain. They are the most common hydrothermal features in the park. (http://www.nps.gov/yell/naturescience/hotspring.htm)
