It's a Big Sunflower
------
This photo is a part of my series about adventures of travelling baby pandas. To those who don't know it yet- we have two of them. This is Ginny, our baby girl, named after Virginia (US state). She has a twin brother Floyd, named after the musical festival in Virginia. Both kids are very adventurous and keen travellers so it's almost no day at least one of them wouldn't be around during our photo sessions.
------
In this particular picture you see my baby panda climbing the huge sunflower in our garden. Both Ginny and I were fascinated by the fullness of this healthy giant flower head. You can see how heavy it is with riping seeds, although it is only the middle of summer and the blossom still shines in its prime blooming glory.
------
Note: as a supporter of Pandas International I pledged to donate 5% from my photography income. Thanks to everyone who helps me to help giant pandas.
