Description
The Earth Hour In The Pandaland
-----
Pandaland is a magic land where all toy pandas live. My big panda family joined the whole world for the Earth's Hour. They were sitting around the "fire" watching the candle glowing with different colors: red, blue, purple, green, and contemplating the importance of survival, conservation, awareness...
This poster may not save the Earth but hopefully will help to draw attention to our environment.
You may wish to check my galleries for smaller (1 group at a time) pictures of this gathering later.

A Pretty good job is being done with Panda's in China. They have a huge preserve and Veterinarian & animal care volunteers from many areas of the world work there. In my opinion they have been doing it the smart way. They loan pairs of Pandas to zoos for a Fee which helps support the facility. The loan is for a limited time, then they must be returned to the facility including any youngsters born to the pair. This way they are keeping the Gene Pool intact and no animals ever get sold to private owners. Published in the ARTIST NEWS today.

You're right. People do care pretty well for pandas. Sadly enough, not all Zoos have conditions to keep pandas really happy till they give the desired youngsters. THANK YOU very much for the comment and publishing.
